How We Prepare Our Crew
Every YS crew member is briefed on the project scope, site rules, and surface requirements before work begins. These are the standards we hold ourselves to on every job.
Arrive at the assigned time with required PPE and follow check-in procedures. Access, orientation, staffing, supplies, and equipment are confirmed before mobilization.
Review assigned areas and tasks before starting. Ask when instructions are unclear. A brief start-of-shift meeting covers the approved scope.
Follow the assigned sequence and report delays promptly. Progress is checked during the shift and the contractor is notified early if completion is at risk.
Follow the area checklist, including edges, corners, fixtures, and other items within scope. Completed areas are inspected before presenting them to the contractor.
Use approved products and tools. Stop and ask before using an unfamiliar chemical or method. Surface-care instructions are confirmed and existing damage is documented.
Follow site rules, labels, and training. Keep access routes clear and report hazards. Only tasks employees are trained and equipped to perform are assigned.
Avoid entering restricted areas or interfering with active work. Report blocked access. Area readiness and cleaning sequence are agreed with the superintendent.
Refer requests for extra work to the crew lead. Do not promise prices or additional visits. Changes are approved and their effect on cost and schedule is documented.
Report damage, missed tasks, and supply shortages immediately. Issues are resolved and communicated with the contractor without hiding delays or mistakes.
Mark completed tasks and take photos when site policy allows. A completion record is kept and the final walkthrough is requested.
Listen, clarify the issue, and correct assigned items without arguing. Confirm whether the request is a scope correction or additional work.
Remove cleaning supplies, secure chemicals, and dispose of waste in approved locations. An end-of-shift check confirms remaining work.
